Moon
Seven rounds for time of: 40 pound dumbbell Hang split snatch, 10 reps Right arm 15 ft Rope Climb, 1 ascent 40 pound dumbbell Hang split snatch, 10 reps Left arm 15 ft Rope Climb, 1 ascent
I lied about the burpee pullup WOD. I didn't have time. I am going to do it today. It was 87 degrees in my garage when I did Moon, and of course, it was nastier than I thought. I thought about cutting it to 5 rounds, but you can't dishonor the hero so I pushed through. TT 20:31. Snatches RX'd and were tough cos I spanked legs yesterday and well... 140 1 armed snatches is plenty. Rope climbs were from ass legeless to 9 feet. They were awful. I probably touched my toe down about 10-15 times total. If not, I would have not been able to go on. That little toe tap helps. Back in the saddle. Who's next on this one?
Did the MU/Snatch WOD as a make-up yesterday. Depending on what comes up tomorrow I might do a version of Moon. And I still need to catch up on the DL/BJ WOD.
My arms, lats, and shoulders are all sore as hell today. I think I'm going to take today off even though I'm a couple days behind.
I had to make up something today (Sunday) so I chose the Hero WOD. Instead of rope climbs, I did 5 pullups/5 TTB. I think that slowed me down a bunch versus rx'd but it made a good workout.
