  1. This was tough. I watched a lot of very fit people not make it through round 1 at the box. My TTB are just so slow. I went 20 & 5 on TTB, had 2 missed reps on double unders and went unbroken with drops from the top on the squat cleans and only had 15 seconds to spare going into round 2. I was in metabolic disarray and made it only halfway through the double unders. Score 145. Incredibly hard work out for me.

  2. This one was no fun, like you Justin the toes 2 bar were slower than I wanted. Double understand were quick and then the squat cleans showed up (no drops for me since I'm in the garage at 5:30).

    With my shoulder I scaled the squat cleans back to 95, 115, 135 I made it through into round 3 to 3 squat cleans. Si a total of 258 reps.

  3. Guys, I re-damaged my shoulder.. not doing anything. reaching from driver's side of car to passenger side door thing to put my wife's sunglasses away. I felt a twinge and called doc... he said to try PT for a few days to see what happens, and it hurts like a bitch, like worse than before surgery. I am fearing that I tore it again and will need shoulder surgery AGAIN. It really bums me out. Nonetheless, I soldier on. No more shoulder PT, but this AM I did get sweaty and bust some ass best I could, did 3 rounds of ride spin bike 200 revolutions (30 standing 20 sitting x 4 with good resistance) then 25 GHDs, 25 BEs, then 15 squats holding 30 lb med ball while standing on those squishy balance thingies. It was actually a satisfying session. My upper body is experience atrophy and getting soft. Trying to eat clean and not drink too much and get good sleep. What else can a guy do?
