5 RFT 400 Meter Row, 50 Sit ups, 50 Walking Lunges with 20 LB vest

I used the GHD bench for the situps, had a small back issue when starting, but worked through it. Still got beat by Chelle :)

  2. That's my girl! Today went to globo gym called "Fitness 19" with my sister, who, I must say is extremely deconditioned. Did some calisthentic warmups and some yoga stuff that was just to warmup and she was gassed right there. Then she went to the elliptical... I joined her. I actually like those things for awhile. I mean, they get boring, but they can burn the calories so if you are listening to a book or some good music you can stay stimulated, but it's nothing like a good WOD... so then I moved to rounds of 3:00 on elliptical, 15 pullups, 15 TTB. Did 4 rounds of that. The globo gym guys were giving me looks with the TTB, they were all quite curious. I really noticed they had an extreme over emphasis on working their arms and looking at their arms in the mirror. A LOT. I then moved to some back squats in the Smith machine which I really didn't like... those things slide up and down at like a 10-15 degree angle and it's frustrating. Then I left.

  3. By the way, I am in Redding, which is NorCal, helping after Grandma died. Back tomorrow night. Surgery moved to 12/23. I hate to say it, but recovery will be intensely awful. Been reading about the labral repair, and it by itself is hardcore, then add the knee surgery on top of it and I am really asking for it. Damn. whatever.
