18.Zero

RX is 50-lb dumbbell, which I don't have so I use a 40-lb instead. In hind sight I should have used the prescribed scale of the 35-lb dumbbell for better comparison with others.

TT 5:42

Don't be fooled by the brevity of this WOD, if you throw yourself into this one it will take a toll.

Have fun and crush it!

  1. Hey guys! I haven’t done CrossFit in about 6 months. I’m 14 weeks in on a 18 week strength program. I’ve also been running a lot. I plan on coming back to the Wod’s in about a month. Good to get the old blog going again.

Side note: Craig do you have any connections at VMware? Looking for a new job.

  2. Hey Chris! I am not aware of any positions in Syracuse specifically... I would imagine you want to stay there?

Guys, it's great to be blogging again. I did the rope climby one this AM but might do this one too later, just for fun. I weigh 197 now. I'm a little buddy. Haven't had an adult beverage all year so far, and also have maintained a 99% strict Whole30 diet. 9 more days of that business. It's been a cool experience, the amount of discipline required and awareness of the food all around us that is crappy is astounding. What an experience. I'll be whacking a tall cold beer on 2/2/18.

  3. Hi C2CXfit Crew, I am still in Cheyenne and still working out at crossfit frontier. They have great programming. I will share it once in a while. Weight 185 to 188 range, so I am a lot lighter too, however, unlike Craig I still try and drink beer every day. We did Open 12.2 today. I am sure I smoked my old time through the snatches 30@75#s and 30@135# but I just don't have a 165# snatch anymore cause my knees don't like me to squat snatch heavy.

I will post once in a while when we do interesting WODS or named wods. Glad to here you all are still hitting it.
