Lunges and Burpees

Took a few days after I got the rope to figure out the way to climb it, but here's a quick video of an example of me getting up that thing. It hurts in ways that other stuff just doesn't. I get all sorts of weird pangs and pulls and soreness from climbing rope. None of it is injurous though, just strains me!

  1. I was already wiped out and soaked in sweat when I did these climbs the other day too, it was after that 18 minute games WOD :-)

  2. I find that most exercises for Crossfit give you strains and pains different from "normal" workouts. Like today for instance...
    Would have easily done this one in 10 minutes if not for the profuse sweating, gasping lungs and searing burn in my shoulders. Other than that, easy. As RX'd 18:20

  3. Tough WOD, gotta love those burpees. I was around 20 seconds slower then the last time. Still worked me good.

  5. I agree with Wy, other than the overhead lunges mixed with burpees this WOD wasn't too bad.

    OH Lunges were much tougher than expected.
