Manion

  1. Manion doesn't seem very possible for me. I mean DUDE. I wouldn't be able to walk for days after that. I think I'll have to scale that sumbitch. I'm getting a bit too old for some of these crazier WODs. I'll call mine "Boyion"

    Today I am traveling in Plano, Texas. I shook good ol' Ross Perot's hand today. He said "Hi buddy, good to see ya!" and off he went. That there is a bad ass dude. Patriot, philanthropist, and at 88 years old full of energy.

    Today I introduced my boss to some evil. He's in good shape though... but his first timed WOD experience CrossFit style. The hotel gym here has very little in it so we did:

    4 rounds:

    10 DB clean and jerks 35 lbs each hand
    15 burpees
    20 butterfly situps.

    TT for me was about 13:25... he finished a minute or so later. It was very hot and humid in there... which is why I still feel out of whack from that one. Going out for some sushi tonight. Later dudes.

  2. I just went back to last July... no one did Manion except Chas and he subbed rowing for the runs (which I would have to do for 1/2 of them). Maybe I am up for it... maybe. 203 squats @ 135??? I'm actually kind of nervous.

  3. Did a scaled version of this last night. Runs were as RX'ed, but for squats I did rounds 1, 2, 3, and 5 with 135#. And, rounds 4, 6, and 7 I did as just BW squats. My ass and lower back were SCREAMING at me in rounds 3 and 5 of squats. Runs felt better than they have in some time.

    TT = 38:33

    Not looking forward to stairs, or walking in general the next couple days.

  4. Hey guys I'm still hear. I've being doing most WOD's but not consistently. I promise to get back on the wagon.

    I'm easing my way back in so I only did 4 rounds. I didn't time myself but I would say my rounds were in the 5-6 minute range. Legs have been so sore for a couple days after this one.

    Tough WOD
