10rds 3-45#PU/5 Strict PU/7 kipping

  1. Added 20 DUs in between rounds to give some extra rest time. Made it through 5 rounds in about 18 minutes and called it a day. 45 pounders were only happening with a jump assist and not sure more reps would have done any good in the greater scheme of things.

  2. I tried this twice. Once on Saturday and today. Only did 2 rounds on Saturday and 2.5 today. I used a 53# kettlebell for the weighted and lifted it with my toes/feet so I could easily drop it. I figured it was my grips strength on the Saturday trial (did farmers walk after my DLs on Thursday). Just didn't feel right today. I had no strength left for the butterflies. Tuesdays are my weighted pullup days anyways so I just finished up with 3x3 @ 53#s, then sets with 35#s and bodyweight. Also did single arm bent over rows 72#s

    I'll do some running or rowing tonight (most likely running because my shoulders are feeling it).
