A new beginning
So tore my left patella tendon about 3 months ago. Did all the right things and I'm feeling OK now. In re-boot mode. Did René today. Took me 72 minutes. No pain beside the typical crossfit surgery without anesthetic typical discomfort :-) I'm happy to be starting up again. - Cheeers.
8-14 Rene 7 rounds for time of: Run 400 meters, 21 walking lunges, 15 pull-ups, 9 burpees, 20-lb. weight vest or body armor, wear it.
WOW, this one was probably one of the toughest ones yet. It didn't help that I was doing it in the middle of the afternoon in the garage that was 95+ degrees. I combined the burpees and pullups into one movement on rds 1-6, but looking back I think that actually slowed me down. Rd 7 I separated them and it seemed to work better. Rds 1-3 averaging about 5:30 per round, mid Rd 4 the wheels really started coming off and I slowed down tremendously. TT 49:07. I am willing to bet all of you beat me by 10 minutes, as I was just slow today, but I wanted to finish for Rene and his family!!
