  1. Hey guys, are you all still motivated by and interested in our blog or has that sort of died out? No offense will be taken, just tell the truth! Training these rugby players has been a hoot. These 16-20 year old guys got WRECKED by FGB today.. I crushed all of them too which was funny. They were shocked that the "old guy" doubled their score. They are not used to high intensity training. Watch though, in a few months they will be machines.

  2. Fletcher, I dig it for sure. I definitely think it is motivating as hell to see good numbers go up. I like getting the updates on lives and I like having a written record of the wods in an easily searchable format. I am just in the middle of an eight week oly cyle that would be too boring to ever post, so I haven't been.

On that note though, I finished up my Sunday session with 5 rounds of 5 GHDwall/balls and 10 back extension, no rest but not for time, and when I just sneezed I did the super funny ab protector crossfit half sneeze.

  3. Craig, I'm totally down with the blog as well for all the same reasons that Justin mentioned. I haven't been consistent with my posting because of the "issues" I've been dealing with, but I'm making my way back. What's amazing is we still have the original 3-4 guys for when you first started the blog. That says it all.

  4. Fletch, I'm in as well. Golf season has reached MT and I'm thinking I may need to start trying to get into the gyms in the mornings to accomodate golf in the evenings. Plus, working on the house and trying to spend time with the gf take away from my working out as well. But, I try to make them up as I can.

  5. I dig the blog. I like checking out other peeps "misery" busting it out. I'm just a bit frustrated at the moment as tendonitis is making most workouts very hard. I am even having difficulty doing friggen push ups. Unfortunately, just have to wait it out. The soreness is not as bad in the am as it has been so that's a good sign. For the most part I've been doing Insanity workouts which are brutal so at least I'm doing something. Keep up the good work gents!

  6. Good to hear guys... OK cool. I just didn't want the blog to start feeling like an obligation. Had an INSANE day with the rugby team. Three of them puked, but not until after the WOD, the 500M row made 3 out of 4 puked. I told them if anyone can beat my time I will give them ALL $20. So a loss would have cost me $80 LOL. I set a PR at 1:29.3 (previous was 1:29.9). Closest rugby dude was 1:39.1

    WOD was:

Two teams of two, share reps as needed:

    4 rounds for time:

    24 back squats, 95 lbs
    18 front squats, 95 pounds
each guy does a 200M 60lb sandbag carry

Winning team went 11:22!!! Other team was way behind, like 17 minutes. This kid Joe could not handle the squats.
