3 RFT OHSx10, 50 DU's

  1. I did a wimp version and scaled OHS to 105. Lower back bugging me today. Did DU's way better than the other day... TT 8:00 even.

    Felt great about my DU rhythm and bad about my scaling... so I rested 3 minutes exactly and then did a 4th round and CRUSHED it. 1:50.

    All 4 rounds did the 10 OHS unbroken, but again they were only 105. Headed to Austin Texas Tues-Thurs but still need to WOD there in the hotel.

  2. I did this rx'd and struggled with DUs in the begining and then was crushed by the OHSs in the second and third round. It litterally felt like someone had added 50# to the bar when I went to snatch it into place to start round 2. It was flat silly. DUs got better as I got more tired,which is what they typically do. It was taking me forever to even feel like I could get under the bar to finish the OHSs.

    I am pretty sure that I was supposed to do this the day before 50 155# clean and jerks and not the day after!

    Way to stick with the double unders Fletcher, now I am the one who needs to practice practice practice on them.

  3. I am totally inconsistent with those damn things though... the WOD last week (or so) that had DU's drove me crazy. I was cussing and throwing things. I could only do 1 or 2 a lot of the time. Then with this one I was cranking them 10 and 20 at a time and able to recover from a miss very fast. Weird.
