2 RFT: 100 DUs, 50 PP's, 25 TTB

  1. 17:42.

First round went 8:00, DU's were quite good given my limited ability.... like 3:25. Did all PP's. Thought about doing 25 presses and 25 PPs but I wanted to go for speed especially since I did PP's after Gwen yesterday....

Second round got off to a good start, 29 DU's in a row, stopped due to fatigue. But then, the DU nightmare began. 1, 2, 3, 2, 1, 2.... DU's took 5 minutes or so.... so round 2 took what... 9:42? Sucked. But it was a fun time at the same time.

  3. Fletcher, that is a super strong time man! You had to fly through the push presses, they killed me. I am no good at high rep overhead movements. This wod and the filthy prove that fact conclusively.

I crushed the double unders out of the gate in 2:36 and then they in turn crushed me for the rest of the wod. 24:55 Total Time of misery as rx'd. I spent a solid four to six minutes of this wod bent over trying not puke and at the same time praying I would puke so I could just quit.

  4. When you do TTB, do you anchor your toes on the floor for a slight second or do you swing all about the whole time? I tap my toes on the floor so I can maintain speed because I have never worked up the kipping TTB move yet. Could that be a difference? THe PP's took the most heart for me. I got back on the bar faster than I thought I should just to see what would happen. I have been doing this a lot lately because I was inspired by one of the coaches on one of the videos. He said "resting makes you breath harder, just try to keep going on breath rhythmically and see what happens... you'll find that it steadies out"... something like that.

  5. I find I have better form if I touch briefly, then explode up. I don't want to swing to much as it takes more of my shoulder power too. Just me.
