Run a little, clean some, climb a lot (from 7/14)

  1. Hey guys, I was on vacation, then didn't feel very good a couple of days, but back at it today.

    This was from last Saturday:

    For time:
    185 pound Clean & jerk, 10 reps
    Sprint 100 yards
    20 foot Rope climb, 7 ascents
    Sprint 100 yards
    185 pound Clean & jerk, 1 rep

    I did 13 reps of C and J at 150 lbs
    Did 9 RC's to 15 feet...

    Went on a couple of great mountain bike rides in Aspen, also did a big ass hike and got my little kids stuck in the high alpine climate with rain and hail... had to shuttle them 1.8 miles to get out of the weather... no rain gear, it was awful, and stupid of ME. Ran 100 yards with one kid (we're talking in RAIN and WIND and teeth chattering cold at 11,000 feet above sea level), sat them under a tree, run up the trail, grab the other kid, hall balls, for an HOUR to get them out of there. CrossFit came in handy... my legs and arms were numb and are still sore from it. It was the dumbest, and perhaps one of the most bad ass things I have ever done.
