GHD Muscle Up Wod

  1. I did not listen to myself. I said if you want a PR then break up the GHDs into sets of 10 and take little breaks. Needless to say I did the first 40 unbroken and fast as I could and so I guess I should not have been suprised when my body refused to kip and I missed my second muscle up in round two. I ground it out and found the ability to kip and finish in 9:15 as rx'd but no pr for me today.

  2. Yo dudes... still in NYC but flying home in a bit. The trip was great. Two downers about NYC: 1) it is hard to travel around efficiently. What a freaking jam packed city. 2) Expensive as hell. Besides those two things, it was awesome.

    Justin that app rocks, good for travel!

    I subbed 4:1 dip station dips (which were just about as challenging as ring dips) and pullups for the MUs. I took a LOT longer than Justinius the Strong... I'd like to think because of the way more reps and also it was at a globo gym here in Times Square. people get in your way and they don't understand that just because you left a piece of gear or area doesn't mean you won't come back. Chelle and I got a lot of funny looks this AM doing this (just like 2 days ago when we were in there doing another WOD that we just made up, I didn't post that day). People don't get it... they walk around, do a few things, stand around, do a few more. we are storming about grunting, breathing really hard, dripping sweat all over things. it is really funny doing CrossFit at Globo Gyms. People wonder what your deal is for sure. I could never belong to a GG, it's either garage gym or CF box for me. TT 14:45 ish.... the dips slowed me down in the last two rounds (16 and 20). Peace out guys. Tomorrow AM it's back in the saddle. I think I'll go make up a hero WOD. can't miss hero WODs.
