  1. Did 500M rows for the runs. In the past I have done 400M rows to make up for the forearm effect. So today was 10:47. All KBS unbroken, had to stop once during round 2 and 3 of pullups. Round 3 of pullups went 7/5. I need to just gut that out and do it unbroken, but my arms are killing me at that point. Have a nagging hamstring strain that is bothering me, but these moves didn't hurt too much. Fran would though with the thrusters. Could barely even do an air squat yesterday... not as bad today. It will heal up soon. Riding bike in to work tomorrow... I LOVE doing that. Such a beautiful way to start the day.

  2. Oh, I think that is a PR for rowing 500's... not sure

  3. Some nice stuff today but no PR. First thing finally did this RX'd. My PR for this is 12:04 with a 25# kettlebell. Also my first run was 1:24.21. That was great but the others dropped to 1:48.75 and 1:59.08. KBS and PU were 1:59.59, 3:17.84 and 3:34.96.

Craig- I loved biking to work when I lived out there. I lived by Bellview and Wadsworth and biked to the Cherry Creek Reservoir. 15 miles each way. Did it through the snow and rain, just about everyday. One of my trails was the Bear Creek trail and I would see, maybe once a week, a fox right before I made it to the Platt river trail. One of the many things I miss about CO.

  4. Took me 100% all out effort but I tied the tall master rower with a monster one minute-ish rowing pr of 10:47. Thanks for posting such a good time Fletcher.

  5. nice work Dave, and yes.. cycling to work is awesome! I almost ran over a bunny this morning going about 30 mph, came flying out of the brush and circled back just in time. Scared me! Justin - you tied me and I am supposed to be the row master? I don't know if I deserve the title. I better hit this one again you turd. It's hard to gauge if I should row faster or not, because it winds you bad and makes the other moves that much harder. For me, I think the key is to gut it out and get the pull-ups unbroken.

  6. Turd?? I gave you the benefit of the doubt and called it a tie, but the truth be told the watch read 10:46:54 when my feet hit the ground after the last pullup:) I am years away from doing the pull ups unbroken on this one, I got 8 butterfly kips in a row in round one and then I managed to hang on for 4 more in round one but they were not linked. Round three was 6-4-2 and the last one was a miracle. My new pullup bar requires a 1' jump so it changes the strategy on pullups because singles are not really a good option with the jump. Rowing destroys my pullups.

This was the first time ever though that I got the full metcon destruction with the rowing version of the wod. It was a great wod thanks to the strong number you posted Fletcher.

  7. Dude... put some bumpers under the pullup bar so you don't have to jump a foot!
