  1. I have been doing 5k rows this month as an extra. Dec 1,2,3,5 and today. I did this as a 5k alternating between 500m fast then 500m easy.

  2. Doing this did not go well for me after yesterday. I new I needed to get seriously warmed up to avoid injury so I tried to start at a fair pace and then get a negative split in each round with a chance a good row in round four, the best laid plans of mice and men...
    144.8/142.5/141.0 then went like hell for the first 250m and the wheels flew off, but I kept rowing even thought the split time dropped as low as 1:52 and I finished in 144.6. I have no idea how I beat my first time and I have no idea how barely being able to row the last 250 I was still within three seconds of my fastest row? Rowing is weird and very hard.

  4. I HATE THIS WOD. I did poorly today. The wheels came off bad in round 3... I almost quit in round 3 but that is prohibited unless I am truly sick, like when the 95's WOD came up in 2009.LOL.

    I went really hard the first two, and it tanked me. My spirit was crushed after round 2.

  5. For comparison I am posting what I did in August 2011.

    1:29.7
    2:03.3
    1:45.6
    1:45.0

    Back then I got my 500M PR @ 1:29.7, which still stands today.

    So today the average was 1:41.2, in Aug 2011 the average was 1:45.9, so I guess this is a PR? Didn't feel like it... felt like I tanked it.
