This went really pretty smooth as rx'd, except for the rope climbs in round 4, had two outright failures halfway up and that cost me some serious time. TT = 17:34
damn Justin, that is ridiculous. You are just strong. This did not go well for me. Round 1 did, got that done in 2:20... but soon I couldn't do the climbs, outright couldn't do them. Out of the 15 attempts, I had like 7 that got to 13-14' then I was done. I didn't finish strict RX'd, I just took what I could get on those because I had to get to work in the snow this AM. New 3" thick R17 door insulates quite nicely... single digits outside, but 45 degrees in the garage this AM. TT 18:36. Lots of time waiting for strength to do the climbs.
Fletcher, how much did that door set you back? Mine is not insulated and it was 38 degrees in my garage this morning. I am getting pretty soft though, used to be just about 7 degrees above outside at the old house, whch would have been 8 this morning.
My rope climbs are not really as rx'd because the ceiling is not quite high enough. So it is a 13' climb to get to the nasty metal clamp at the top of the rope with the through bolts that I grapped only once. Then I lock my feet and reach up over the connector and touch the beam which is about 14 feet up. It is a hard move and it takes a lot of energy, especially after about 5 climbs. Also, I don't allow myself the big jump up to start. Just start on the ground. Still not as rx'd though.
Hey man... the door was about $1850 installed. But we got fancy panels with some frosted windows (light comes in but you can't SEE in). I can send you the link to the company if you want to check it out. Today it was 36 degrees and MINUS NINE outside. 36 was fine. I do a big jump off the floor, so we are even. You are strong.

ReplyDeleteDid this as 20 abmat situps with a 15# medball and 8 dead hang pullups with a 25# kettlebell.
ReplyDeleteTT 13:43.40
