21-18-15-12-9-6-3 PCs and Pistols

  1. I don't do pistols anymore... so I did the same weight (115) and did front squats, same rep count as power cleans (21 on down). TT 14:44 as described. Did it inside my new Rogue cage with the J Cups. That system is amazing. Kinda pricey, but not terrible... like $600. comes with 5 pullup stations also, and you can attach all sorts of other stuff to it if you want. Got two of the kids pullup bars and they are being utilized regularly by the munchkins. Kids love swinging around on the two ropes too. They love daddy's new gym, it's where all the neighborhood kids play. I'll post a video walkthrough sometime soon. Almost done with everything. Got up at 3:48 AM today and installed my custom welded wall mount bumper storage things today, and also a big homegrown 4x8' whiteboard. Got 6 sets of incremental wall ball targets painted on the walls too... starting at 8 feet and going to 11. It's getting wacky around here.

  2. Today was BRUTAL. Started with 95 LBS, and after 3 rounds, dropped to 75 LBS. Front Squats and Front Cleans with a time of 24:15

  3. Jeff, Josh and I returned to this one on June 22, 2015.

    Jeff stayed with 95 lbs throughout (so 20 lbs. heavier on 30 of the reps) and STILL got a time of 19:35, a PR over the previous of 24:15 by 4:40, and heavier.

    Mr. Josh did 75 lbs today instead of 65 lbs the first time, and got a time of 16:21 over his first attempt of 21:45, a PR of 4:21 and 10 pounds heavier. Need I say more? This stuff works.

    I did 115 again like last time and got 14:04, also a PR by 40 seconds. It was PR day.
