Cindy or Mary: Pick your girl

  1. Last time I did Mary, so this time was Cindy time. Ugh, one of the hardest WODs. I had my neighbor Jeff who is almost exactly 10 years older than me over this morning. He's done some P90X, but he thought CrossFit was "amazing".... not sure how many rounds he got but he was trying hard to the point of feeling dizzy... so I suggested he back down a bit.

    I got 20 rounds + 2 pullups. Not quite a PR which I think is 21 even. Not sure why, I was pushing but I ran out of steam.

    Oly day was a 242# clean and jerk, not bad but no pr. and a 5x407# deadlift which is a pr.

    Weird, powerlifting numbers going up but oly numbers stuck in a rut. Got to focus on eating right I guess.

    You guys have to make sure you watch the Again Faster WOD demo. Maybe the best video I have seen on the main site.

  4. That video was very inspiring. Good for those guys. I just didn't have it today for some reason. Last time I did Mary so today it was Cindy. I could only manage 17 rounds and that was a struggle. I'm in bit of a rut these days. Something needs to change..

    Nice work Craig and of course Justin you are one strong dude.

  5. Chris: You got me buddy. I got 16 and 9 push ups, man do I wish I would have seen your post first for motivation. My recomendation would be to focus on nutrition and mobility. I ate like shit this week and I can feel it.

  6. I had two glasses of red wine and one beer last night and I feel THAT. We are getting old.

    Tonight I am going to see the Foo Fighters. That should be fun, and more alcohol.
