Row row row your bench

  1. Sometimes I just have to punish myself to remove stress and anger. That was how I felt this morning when I decided to put myself into full metabolic derangement by starting out the workout with a 1:35 500m row, which is very near my pr on my rower, which I think is a little slow from sitting in the dust and being frozen more than half the year. My plan worked perfectly and I was destroyed before I even started the dips, but I was so amped up about rowing I forgot to start my watch until after I put on my weight vest and got ready to do dips, so I think I pr'd in the 26:40 range but I don't know for certain. More importantly, I got rid of alot of that stress and anger as I talked with pukie and tried to keep cranking on the dips and rowing. Did dips with 20# vest as sub for bench.

  2. Another classic JTS angry man post! Love it. Last time I got this in 20:18 @ 155 lb bench. This time I got it in 21:41 @ 165 lbs. For future reference if this posts again, I need to up the 60 bench presses to 175. I weight 230 after all (ya, I gained another 5). Been gluttonous lately. I keep saying I am going to eat clean, stop drinking beer, sleep more, etc. but there's just too much fun going on LOL.

  3. I started putting coconut milk in my recovery drinks instead of organic whole fat milk. I can tell you one thing, the milk tastes better!

  4. Same sub as before Runs for Rows 400/800/1600. Bench press @165. Almost a minute slower from the last time. I guess the 10 pounds I've put on havent helped.

  5. You guys sand blasted my fat as. 2 weeks and I feel like crap. Did bench@ 185. That first 30, wait ALL 60 sucked. Blah... I row for shit too. TT 26:52
