It's been widely published throughout the Crossfit community worldwide that a one Craig Fletcher has a "no more than 100 GHDs in one WOD" policy. Couple that with all 3 other moves being core moves, especially the K2Es, and I had no choice but to scale this thing to 4 rounds. Also used a 53 lb KB. Doing it this way, I went 22:58. First round went 4:40 and things went downhill, especially on the last two sets of GHDs, which were all to the ground. Ouch. Have a great Sunday, boys.
I scaled big time too cause I have a golf match today in the local match play league and I did not want to be crippled. I did four rounds with 15 sets each and 1.5 pood on the swings. Just about right for an old man like me.

ReplyDeleteFletcher's understudy posted a 26:47 time using a 45# KB and some suspect K2E technique.

ReplyDeleteDid this one this morning, hung over and no sleep. Used a 45lb KB. First 2 rounds did 25 reps, rounds 3-5 dropped to 20. TT 30:29
