15-12-9 Thrusters & Muscle-ups

  1. The heaviest weight I have in dumbells is 30#s so I added a 20# weight vest. I also did 15-12-9 or pullups and 30-27-18 push-ups. I used the vest for the pull-ups and push-ups also. My Tris and shoulders are still weak from Gallant so it was very slow.

  2. I did this with a 95# barbell and muscle ups regular, no games style turn out. The thrusters were easy, but they sure did make the muscle ups a bastard. 17:49 as rx'd. The last 4 reps of muscle ups were almost impossible. It was kip into position at the bottom of the dip and then kip and re-kip and re-kip again with whole body shaking to get to the top of the dip. Great wod.
