  2. Subbed 25 SDHP's for the rows. I'm going to be feeling that for the next couple days.

  4. Chris, that was a funny ass video and a bad ass number of rounds that you posted.

For me the rowing was the easy part and pushups sucked. Averaged about a 1:46-48 500m/split and made 7 rounds + 250m + 10

I think my chest will feel this on Saturday, may not have been such a great idea but don't really care.

  5. Hey guys. Tried to post on this a couple of times today from the Blogger app on my iPhone but it kept locking up.

Did this at 6AM with Josh, one of those Rugby dudes that I was training last summer. He just got back from Japan on a tour of duty with the Marine Corps.

Last time I got 9 rounds + rowing, but this time I did all pushups "chest and stomach to the floor hand release" style. Hence, 8 rounds + 112M rowing. I like those kinds of pushups. Better for building strength I think, but they slow me down. Can't bang em out.

Also been noticing the days when I eat 1/2 as much as I think I want to, I am not full anyway. When I do that I can lose 5 lbs in 2-3 days. Then I always seem to return to gluttony. But Calorie deficit IS THE WAY to trim fat. Take in less than you burn, and your body will turn to fat as the most efficient "on board" energy source when there isn't enough food coming down the hatch. It's really that simple unless you have a disease or such.

  9. Thx Justin! every now and then I throw out a quality effort.
Fletch no, regular ” army” pu's. I say that because I did one of those Army tests where you do Pullups and push ups. They had a button close to the floor and when fully pressed, counted as 1. They showed me the form required, and I pounded out 107. Back straight, nose either touching or damn close. Either way, I'm smoked.
