Flight Simulator
20 Minute time cap
Double Unders
5-10-15-20-25-30-35-40-45-50-45-40-35-30-25-20-15-10-5
Rules:
1. You must complete each set consecutively before moving onto the next
Example: I must do 5 consecutive double unders without breaking before I can move to 10 double unders. I must do 10 consecutive double unders before I move to 15 double unders etc.
2. You will start over on the set you were attempting if you do not get the desired number consecutively.
Example: If I am on set 25 and I trip on 23 double unders…I will start over and try for 25 again and continue this until I either get 25 consecutive double unders or the time runs out.
3. You must break in between sets
Example: After I complete 5 consecutive double unders, I must come to a complete stop, THEN go to set 10 and so on.
4. There is not modifying!!!!
Example: We are doing double unders today….NO SINGLES can be substituted or counted..so practice!

  1. This was embarrassing for me. Made it to 15 after a bunch of misses in three minutes and then never made it past 16 in the next 17 minutes. Damn double unders!

  2. I won't be doing any DU's for a long time I think. I can't even do single unders without sharp knee pains. Going to the ortho soon. Surgery #4 could be in my future

  3. Nice WOD. 30 on the way up. Made some 32s and a 33 but couldn't get to 35. At the end it was just teens or less.

  4. Nice work Dave! I don't know how you feel today, but I cannot walk right on level ground and stairs are just kinda funny if it were not for the golf ball sized knots in my calves.

Fletcher, sorry to hear about your knee. I think it may be the pistols. My left knee has had a weird tweak to it ever since that last wod with them. Hope it works itself out before they name a room after you at the doctor's office.

  5. My knee problem goes back to a motocross accident I had in 1996. I had my knee reconstructed and also had cartilage (meniscus) remove between tibia and femur on the lateral (outside) side. So now I think that's worn too thin and I have bone on bone. I can't even take a few steps of jogging, do box step ups, or single unders without knifing pain.
