  1. Scaled the thrusters to 65#s.
    TT 15:18.15
Thrusters suck for me. My rows times were good. I wanted to keep my pace between 1:55 and 2:00 and I did. Here is a good chart to figure out your pace for the rowing. Note to self I moved the damper up to 6 (normally keep it around 4.5.

  2. I did this rx'd and it hurt bad. Thruster went 18-9, 12-7-2, no idea, 5-4. Total time was 12:18.

I have a buddy who is much smarter than me and he went 9-9-9, 7-7-7,10-5,9. He also just back rowed to save his legs.

  3. Shoulder is impinged again, so subbed 135 lb Back squats. 8:48 like that. Will come back and do thrusters when I can. Also did 200M walking lunge for warmup, and finished with 200M rowing sprints with 30 secs in between. Had pace down to 1:20 for a few on first one, did that one in 36 seconds, the rest were around the 41 second range. Off to the mountains for a couple of days. Finished my college degree program last weekend... that's a relief.

  4. Did this RX'd this morning, first day shoulder felt good enough to do this with 95 lbs. TT 10:29. Rowed hard in round 1, like 1400 cal/hour pace... after that tried not to row overly hard to save some lungs for the thrusters. Thrusters went like this:

    15/6/6
    10/6/5
    10/5
    unbroken

Tried to just take 3-5 deep breaths on thruster breaks.

  5. I checked the Men's Masters age group 40-44 and I'd have placed at the 14% percentile on this one, about. 1,292 out of about 9,000 competitors in the CrossFit Games Open, but a lot of the competitors did it scaled too.. so even better than 14% I guess. That makes me feel good! :-)
