CrossFit Games 2011: Workout #10

I am going to do this but not just without the sled pull... maybe do some rope climbs in place or some pullups. Can't just leave it out, because that was the part that killed the competitors the most!

  1. Craig I punted on the sled too, I did 30 ring rows instead.

    Minus sled 17:25
    Plus RRs 19:15

    The burpees-overhead did me in, the latter was down to 2-3 reps after the first 8.

  2. As Rx'd 19:55. Sled pull was rough, but it was those 135 shoulder to overhead that killed me, sets of 3 the whole way through. My body is just still not quite normal I must say.

  3. Ring rows would have been a smarter sub, but I did 30 pullups. Used 95 lbs for SDHPs and PPs. TT 13:59. Felt not so strong. First WOD in 5 days.

    Justin - very few people will ever be able to say they ran a marathon. If you were 30 or younger, I'd beg you to try out for NAVY Seals. There's no quit in Justin Kallal.

    I have a construction buddy who has been busier than ever... but he's going to slow down in a few weeks, and then we are going to open up the cieling in my garage and build a "chute" with an anchor up at the top of my roof rafters to hang rings and rope from to get more swing and length. Then my muscle up mission will begin and I can see what real rope climbs feel like too. I think I'll have about 12 feet to work with.
