Rope Climbing Clean and Jerkin'

  1. Hey gang I did this a little differently. One of my fingers is a little mashed so I only did the first 3 rope climbs and then I did 4:1 dead hang pullups which really slowed me down doing 16 and 20 in the last two rounds!

    Also did 8,7,6,5,4 clean and jerks with only 95 lbs. Last time I did 115 lbs and had sharp pains in my back for over a month. Lame.

  2. Definitely feeling the 2wks off, even after just one WOD. I scaled this one to:

    C&J 115-135-135-145-145
    L pullups 15-12-9-6-3

    14mins even

  4. WODoers: If I have to do this again I will do the last clean in every round as a squat clean. I was able to power clean all the reps until 225 then the trouble hit. My first attempt was sub 15 minutes, finaly got it done at 18:11 as rx'd.

    Cool thing though was had probably my best rep ever on the last clean. I was stuck in the absolute ass touching ankles bottom of the squat for a about 2 full seconds before I could stand up, then I refocused and got the jerk.
