CrossFit Total

  1. Today I did my own version sine I cannot max out, but this way every time the Total comes up I have something to compare to instead of just skipping the WOD.

    I did like a heavy FGB...
    Max reps for a minute every minute of

    3 rounds
    DL @ 185
    Press @ 95
    Back Squat @ 155
    dumbbell curls @ 50 lbs (for glamour)
    Rest 2 minutes

    After about 10 presses I was getting sharp pains in the shoulder so I switched to pushups in rounds 2 and 3

    Reps went 20, 10, 15, 10 round 1
    then 20, 35, 15, 10 round 2
    20,25,15,10 round 3

    This completely trashed me.

    I had my fantasy football draft last night so I was a bit groggy today as well

  2. I decided to make it a speed day with the same lifts as the Total. My body isn't quite ready for super heavy.

    10 Rounds, 2 reps, 30 seconds rest between rounds

    Back Squat 185
    Shoulder Press 115
    Dead Lift 225

    Good workout
