My wife and her girls did this one the other day so I decided since Jeff skipped workouts all week while at a conference in Vegas, this would be a good welcome back home WOD. Man, this one is a G R I N D. Subbed rowing for runs, 1.5 pood for KBS. TT 39:43. Pushed very hard in round 5 to get sub 40, left me on my back not feeling so well for a bit afterwards. And now I see that the filthy fifty has arrived. Tomorrow, perhaps.
ReplyDeleteIt appears as though this is a PR for me. Wowzers. Did it on 7/20/14 in 41:06, 40:43 in 12/2010.
ReplyDeleteYesterday was my 1st excursion into Whitten, and it was eye opening. I subbed the 35 lbs kettle weight (1 Pood) but left the rest of the work out as it should. 48:46 time, and the rest of the day was shot :)
