  1. Went all out on this bastard. All wb and bx unbroken. GHD unbroken through 9 then sets of 8 and 2. This is going to hurt bad tomorrow and the next day. My back was about to spasm by the end. I hope somebody can beat me in this crew, but here is the number to beat:
    13 rounds and 10 wallball

  2. I subbed 45# thrusters as usual, comments welcomed.

    15 rounds + 5 thrusters

  3. Chas, you are too good of a debater to comment on the "thrusters vs. wall balls" issue. What size DBs are you using? Wall balls just take a while for the travel time plus the big ol lumpy dynamax ball is awkward so it becomes a skill move as well and there are mistakes made that you have to recover from (catching it wrong, dropping it, hits your face, etc.).

    14 rounds + 5 wall balls

GHDs weren't to the floor because I can't. However whether or not this sped me up is debateable. I go beyond flat with my elbows flared out and hands behind ears then I pause mid-air for a full (one one thousand) then squeeze it back up. I could not do all sets of those situps unbroken, it really started to strain the abs, neck, etc. Did all WBs and BEs unbroken though. Knee was popping and hurting in final 3 rounds but had to keep going, knowing Justin's count. But not apples to apples. Sorry dude. Did what I could. I really never rested though... 2-3 seconds a few times during situps was all.

  4. I do thrusters w/ a 45# barbell. Maybe next time I'll mix it up and use two DBs, say 25# each, and see how that goes.

My GHDs are off the end of my weight bench, feet anchored by my toes, and then I go back and touch the floor w/ alternating hands. Then flip over and BEs the same way.

  5. Well it's hard to say... seems like a fair WB sub to me since you are going with 225% of the weight of the ball? Maybe you're just a bad ass? Maybe your BE's lack ROM though eh? With a GHD bench I go to a full, and maybe even beyond a 90 degree hinge at the hips. Can you get that kinda ROM? Maybe stack some sturdy stuff under the bench end of it to prop it up higher? I remember seeing some Justinian pictures of such a contraption before he got his GHD.

  6. I did this one last Thursday, but just have been forgetting to post until now. GHD's were done with feet anchored while sitting on one of those fitness balls.

    11 rounds + 10 WB/10BE/2GHD - 6 rounds in the first 10 minutes and 5+ in the second 10.
