Craig and Chris, nice times, you made my time look silly slow. I knew I sucked at TTB but I didn't realize how bad. I was reduced to singles by the start of round 3. That made the burpees easy and fast, they were all unbroken. Total time of ab crushing suck fest 15:32.
Glad I waited a few days for this. My hamstrings were sore from Kelly for a couple of days. I set an interval timer to 1 minute repeats so I could tell where I am in time. I did the first 4 sets in 3 minutes. The last ones were coming in just under a minutes a set. My time is probably 10 seconds faster due to the fact that I couldn't shut it off because a fumbled a button.

Thanks Craig. I am sure you could have gone a minute faster If you didn't do the max bench before. I think the K2E are a little easier than TTB, but glad you did the WOD that way.
Finally did this as I needed a WOD. Didn't want to run, or lift.. enter this. Really can feel the extra weight I'm carrying on these two exercises. First 3 rounds were ok, burps were unbroken for most rounds, but TTb, was doing 3 or less on the first set til the end. TT 13:30.
Just to make sure this one really sucked we did 3 rounds of max reps bench press @ 135.

Then did the last two rounds with my buddies Todd and Mike while they finished, which was terrible.

PS - first couple of rounds of burpees after doing the bench felt really weird, like I had phantom limbs.

Dave, incredible time! Not sure why I did TTB's and wrote it that way. K2E are easier for me.

ReplyDeleteActually my chest muscles were STILL feeling that today, and we're talking 4 days later. The 70 or so reps of bench press jacked me up :-)
