  1. WODoers: I need to rework my pull up bar. It is so low I cannot kip and it sways back and forth a ton. I subbed one half GHDs until final round when I started to regular situps cause I was in too much pain. Also, only did 37 pull ups in round 3, but I know it took me longer than 75 on regular bar.

    TT=32:53

    More of a strenght work out than met-con because of how long situps and pull up took me.

  2. This workout was just heinous. Did 50 GHD's before switching to the ABMat for situps. Pullups as always were a struggle for me. The last round of 75 I did whatever I could to get through them. Then I busted off 75 straight situps to finish this bastard.

    Round 1 4:52
    Round 2 12:01
    Round 3 15:57

    TT: 32:51

  4. That was just nasty. Glassman, you're an A Hole.

    TT = 35 minutes. First two rounds went good... then... uhh.. no.

    3rd round of pullups took me a month of sundays, felt pukey in round 3. round 2 squats unbroken, that's the only "victorious" thing that happened other than just finishing.
    Last round of situps took forever too because of a) nausea and b) last WOD I did 100 GHD situps so my abs were really hurting.

    Round 1 3:48
    Round 2: 11:32
    Round 3 squats and pushups: 6:17
    Round 3 pullups: 10:22
    round 3 situps: 3:18
    round 3 total: A damn long time.

  5. Chris, your round 3 is awesome dude! Only 3 minutes more than the 50 rep round? NICE! Jacob, you're not normal. Amazing.

  6. Did this one yesterday. I don't feel as bad knowing that the rest of you struggled as much as I did.

    TT = 39:23

    Round 1 went well, Round 2 PU's were terrible, and all of Round 3 except for squats was tough. Ate too much for breakfast which had pukey looking me in the eye, which sucked. But, done.

  7. That's right Mike, you got that bitch done!! Who else worked that hard today? Very few.

    Which reminds me. Last night we took the kids out trick or treating at a local mall (all the shops give out candy). There was a booth that was marketing martial arts training and there was a dude doing all these silly looking karate kid glam moves in the background on with his cool guy shiny blue and yellow karate suit on with dragons on it. They were also giving out candy so we went over there. I asked "hey, for conditioning, have you guys ever heard of CrossFit? It goes great with martial arts!" And the main girl and the guy doing the moves were both like "yah, we've seen that stuff, but it's crazy and it's not safe. It's too hard, it's way more than you need to do, so we don't do it."

    Pussies.

  8. It's so true Fletcher, life is as hard as you make and you're as hard as your life.

    Crossfit straightens your a$$ up no matter who you are, or what you came from. Funny how people who train don't have the desire or will to fight against themselves in their conditioning.

    And I suppose fighting is safe? Bull$%!+!

    If you quit the fit, you just quit yourself! Every WOD is a fight, every step of the way.
