WODoers: Have some weird bug. Everybody else in town who gets it is sick as a dog. I have some nasal drainage and a slightly upset stomach. I think it is probably the fish oil and a zone favorable diet keeping me from going over the edge to being sick.
I can't run this far without paying dearly, but I done got me a PR fellars, and it's 21 degrees outside! Got my snow pants, gloves, and earmuffs on and got it ON. I did that one WOD:
4 rounds 400M run and 50 squats TT = 13:58
PR by 30 seconds. Damn I run slow. First 50 sqauts unbroken (never done that), then all other squat rounds no more than probably 5 seconds of rest. Last set of squats went super hard cos' I wanted to go sub 14 badly. It's a cool feeling running after doing those squats, you can barely tell your legs are there! I like it for some reason. Weirdo.
Cool down was 400M jog then 400M walk.
Leaves are changing color, falling to the ground, and a light dusting of snow today. It's a beautiful day to be alive guys. Great vibe running out in the cold today amongst the colors. Rest day tomorrow, then Chris comes out here for work and we're going to WOD our butts off together all week long. Gonna be fun!
Fletcher an unbroken set of 50 squats, that is sick. That wod is tough on the legs. We are expecting some bad weather of our on out here so I've been trying to play outside as long as I can.
Had to run on the treadmill, the weather was just too shitty. I know I can run better outside but I am still pretty happy with that time.
Fran lurks tomorrow, but I'm going to save this one for Monday at Craig's gym. We discussed this and decided next week is WOD week. I have to take advantage of having someone to work out with. It get's old talking to myself telling me how much of a bad ass I am. : ) /just kidding
Ran this one Wednesday night between studying for the test. The air was humid as shit out so it felt like I didn't have any lungs. Don't know what my total time was but it was bad. I'm sure lack of sleep and shitty diet had something to do with it too.
