What do you guys recommend? Broke my Buddy Lee this morning, cheap little plastic thing.

  1. Valeo plastic jump rope amazon... 8$! Awesome rope, heavy, good movement, durable and cheap as hell. I have 4 of them and want more, everyone loves them.

    100 Pull-ups for time:

First time doing this mini WOD, but saved it at the end of an otherwise so so day.

Check out the ropes and tell me what you think. I also have the Buddy Lee rope and prefer this, but then again I like heavy ropes.

  5. Myles: Holy Shit on that WOD

WODoers: Buddy Lee ropes are expenses pieces o' crap. Mine broke after a week. I will have to check out the valeo, my theory has just been to go cheap and have back ups on hand if they break. Funny thing is, the cheap ones don't break.

  6. The rope that I use is just the cheapest thing I could find when I was over in Europe. It's a black elastic-ish plastic rope with hard plastic handles. The middle portion that hits the floor is barely worn and I've been using it for almost a year now. I've bought expensive leather ropes before with fancy wooden handles before and I have never been that impressed. So, I guess I would say that I agree with Justin. Go cheap and go home.
