  1. WODoers:

    Been kinda on my own circuit here lately. Did some 125m rowing sprints. Was able to get the pace below 1:30/500m a couple of times. I would really like to go sub 1:25 on 500m someday. Does anyone else have their rower start to move around on you when you really try to go like hell?

    Did 100 situps for time and I ordered bumpers and the Yukon extension machine, nice find Chris. How sturdy does it feel?

  2. Justin,

    The GHD feels pretty sturdy to me. I weigh 187 and it supports me just fine. It's not as nice as Craigs but it's acceptable quality and for what it's used for it will work just fine.

    I got to put the GHD to good use today. Back Extensions are alot harder than Good mornings or Supermans. I was really feeling those. I did situps on the GHD but only to the flat position because that's what the WOD called for. Again, alot harder than using an ABMat. Not a great time but I'm feeling it big time. I'm betting tomorrow will be even better.

    TT: 25:56

  3. Got this one in last night. Subbed straight leg DL with 35# db's for BE's.

    TT = 28:34

    Held steady on about a 9:30 pace the whole way through.

    Justin, the rower that I use moves around even at normal pace. I think the cement in the gym is that smooth surfaced stuff. The best I can do to stop it is to try to be as smooth as possible throughout the stroke and not "jerk" on the way back. Or, just bolt the damn thing down.

    Three rounds for time of:
    Run 800 meters
    50 Back Extensions
    50 Glute Ham Sit-ups

    Jacob 18:19 (800m splits: 2:42, 2:53 and 2:59)

    Damn g key kept getting stuck for some reason.

  5. That was absolutely heinous for me. I subbed 1000M rows for the runs cos' running has sucked for my knee lately. Rowing puts a strain on your back, which transfers nicely into 50 BE's in a row. Nasty!

    Did GHD situps to "flat" position, for me.. that was also a lot harder than AbMat situps.

    BE's were of the snaking variety. Nasty # 3.

    TT = 29:07.

    Rows were 3:40, 4:00 and 4:00. To get a 4 minute 1K row at the end was very tough, had to push with everyone in me.
