HSP KBS GHDSU

  1. Morey: Great to have you back and hear everything went well, I was getting worried.

Jacob: Good job so far and good luck today.

WODoers: Did this games style, parralettes 30" apart. I only able to do 1/2 to 3/4 ROM, but that is a huge improvement for me. I subbed 24 situps cause I didn't want to have to shuttle back and forth to the garage.

    5 rounds on the dot.

  2. Did this as RX'd as possible. I don't have paralettes, but I had full ROM on HSPU's. KB Swings and GHD Situps RX'd.

    5 Rounds + 4 HSPU's + 6 KB Swings

Finished the round after the timer went off.

    Great WOD.

  3. Thanks Kook. Good work fellas!

Touching head on the HSPU except the last 2, which were negatives.

    4 Rounds, through 2 GHSU

  4. Morey, glad to hear the kid is OK. How scary!

Guys, still at mother in laws. This AM when putting on deodorant I lifted my right arm up really high (cos shirt on) and felt a knifing tweak pain in my upper right back, hurt all day. Tried to swing the 2 pooder and it killed, not happening. So I did this, which I thought was a similar workload. Had to rearrange her living room and take some art off the wall. Whatever it takes right?

    5 rounds for time

    4 HSPU
24 AbMat Situps (ankles to ass)
    20 pushups

    TT = 12:56.

Only excuse I can think of for slow time was that my shoulders were fried from yesterday. Last round of pushups was unbroken, which is saying something cos it was darn hard. My one year old seemed to dig the HSPUs. He was yelling "daddy!!" when I was doin em.

  5. Jacob finished 15th out of 130 men. He is on his way to the regionals in Colorado the last weekend of April. Come one, come all! I'll throw a pool party.

He got 5th place in the final WOD, a metcon, right up his alley. He beat the dude that scorched everyone in the first two WODs. Pete Rasmusen, he had some crazy numbers first two WODs on Saturday.

  6. Jacob, awesome job man. I was tracking your results all weekend long. Way to kick some serious ass. Your hardwork has paid off. Keep it going, Denver awaits!

  7. Thanks guys I'm so pumped right now, I'm posting the final WOD on my blog right now in it's entirety. I pulled 100 calories on the rower in 4:08 seconds to start the final and still felt solid going through until the wall balls. I feel that the first WOD was my nerves getting the best of me and I totally had my caged rattled, all those people coming up to me and saying "you're the guy from the games site, you're gonna crush it" I totally sucked ass on that first one and had to clear out my head after that. I felt stronger and more confident as time went on.

But that's over with and it's time to move on. I couldn't have kept up the intensity over these last few months if it weren't for you guys and my buddies back home, so thank you all.

You were all up against the clock with me on this one and we did it, thanks!

  8. Gonna do a double on my day off today. Was hoping for an extra heaping of MILFs in the gym during the weekday daytime crowd, but have been disappointed so far.

Had some fuck steal my 70# db (KB's) after round 1. So, this one was interrupted.

    4 rounds

    On to the chipper next.

  10. A day behind on this one after skiing Sunday.

I had to modify this a bit: HSPU were to a mat, about 4", so not full ROM. Swings were with a 1.5pd KB, I don't have a 2pd or a dumbbell set. GHDs were as rx'd though.

    I made 7rds in 8:15
