ReplyDeleteThroat is killing me, but at least that is only symptom. Sucks ass though cannot even imagine a met con or any run training right now. I hope draggin the sled can keep me ready for the half marathon. Fuck I need to get better soon.
10 rounds wearing 20# vest 1 muslce up 80 yard drag with 45# brisk pace. Was able to do 2 muscle ups per round in the first two rounds but then had to go back to one.

Mikko Salo is insane. How can one do this WOD in 16:17? The way I figured it, he kept a 1:45 split always on the rower (so a 7 minute 2K row, that right there will finish you), and he did a wall ball every 2 seconds, and never rested.
TT 19:19 for me. I should have done better. I did this at 5:15 AM, I was tired but this bitch woke me up big time. I should have beat that guy on the main site damn it! Rowed the first 2K in 7:30, paced on purpose.... the wall balls are what really beat me down. Getting off the rower and jumping right into wall balls when you can't breathe is an interesting experience. It's CrossFit. Justin, get better buddy! I'd take once every two years any day. I have had a much better year than last year though!
Nice work Fletcher, I'm going to give this a try tomorrow, don't know where I'll be on this one as far as time goes. Here's my guess...

So 17:00 seems resonable, but that doesn't take into account transition time, so I'd have to hall in order to get this one.
I'll post tomorrow with the results.

ReplyDeleteThat looks like a hefty pace Jacob. I made those rows on yesterday's WOD (made up today and posted there), but I was able to get my wind back on the BP - especially given how long those took me. I think my goal will be sub-19:19 ;)

Kick ass 2K time to start things off though. I did a 7:30 on purpose cos I knew the wall balls were gonna beat my ass. And I'm not saying a 7:30 2K is cake, it's still a pain in the ass.
