Nice day for a row?

Row 1000M x 4. It's you and me Chazzletons (and whomever else would like to join us).

Here's a screenshot of my PR first 1K of this lovely pukey morning. It all went down hill from there....

  1. Boy did that suck. I am not trying to be dramatic here, or "rower boy"... but seriously, that WOD is about is hard as they come. After the first one my lungs and chest were B U R N I N G... walked down the driveway for some fresh air and the neighbor ladies' dog "Bailey" (nicest dog ever) came over for some lovin' and I could hardly bend down to pet the little buddy. Then she started talking to me and I was gasping for air. She was like "are you OK? What are you doing?" It was funny... kinda.

    Average: 3:35

Had to rest a good 4-5 minutes in between. Rest day tomorrow. Poker party tonight. Yahoo! Gonna be like 90 for 4 days straight. 3 hours a day in the pool this weekend sounds good to me. Going for a treachorous hike/mtn bike ride tomorrow evening with Chelle, then out for some Margs with Grand Marnier in them of course (what is a Marg without GM?)

  2. Damper was on 5 for the first three, then on 10 as an experiment for the last one. It didn't matter a whole lot, just a different type of suckage.

  3. Nice work Fletcher! I'm afraid I've gotta report a DNF on this one. I think I tweaked my left elbow/bicep yesterday on those snatches, really felt wrong this morning. It seemed ok enough to go by this afternoon I thought, but then it felt like it was gonna pop during the second 1k. So I got

    3:35, 3:31

which should have been sub-3:30 but I limped in to the end and called it. Yuck. Hopefully a couple days off will take care of it this weekend.
