Sumos & PJs

  1. I got back home yesterday (Fri) and decided to do a combo-makeup WOD. I chose the 50-40-30-20-10 but did 50 walking lunge steps instead of the jumps, to factor in the 400m lunge WOD I also missed. Major lungburner of a WOD. I made the five sets in 28:25.

    Then this morning I did today's sumo/PJ WOD. Fun one. I definitely tried to stick w/ strict push jerks rather than presses.

  3. Hey guys! I have my 6 week follow-up with the surgeon this week and I'm hoping to finally get rid of this damn sling. Therapy is still very painful and I expect it to be for some time, but at least I can start moving my arm again by myself.

    I did me some WOD's today and it felt great.

    These are more like a front squat because of the way I have to hold the dumbbell, but still a good workout.

    Mobilitywod.blogspot. This is the San Francisco Crossfit owner Kelly Starret and he is the man he is also a Dr. of Physical Therapy. So far he has done 4 different days of mobilty stuff and it's all some awesome shit. Put this stuff in your day 2 or 3 x and you guys will be feeling much better.

  5. I wore my 20# vest and ran that same nasty hill I did in 8:16 last weekend. It took 9:23 with the vest and it was a fucker. Killed my squats today, but o well, good wod.
