Hey guys. Glad to see everyone hitting it. I got a PR climbing "Chimney Gulch" on my mountain bike yesterday. I have been riding this trail for 10 years, literally. I hit it a few times a year at least. Last week I rode it at 6:15 AM before work. Since this week I am unemployed for the first time since I was 13 (literally), I went biking! My previous PR on this climb was 1 hour 4 minutes. Yesterday I banged it out in 59:55. I pushed so hard at the end just to see "what would happen"... would I puke? Would I pass out? Would I go into sudden cardiac arrest? None of these occured, but all crossed my mind. Your body just slows you down when it has to. Mentally, I topped out. It was nasty. I had to squat down with my hands on a fence rail for about 5 minutes at the top. There were a few tourists up there (from the top you can see Denver Metro) wondering why the hell a guy would ride that hard I am sure. A couple of them came over to me and asked if I was OK, I just said "I gotta PR"... I don't think they know what that means. Today I am spending like 8-9 hours working around the houe, so I am whooped again. Tomorrow AM I am going mountain biking again (can you tell I like to mountain bike?) then will rest Friday, then back on the WOD's for the weekend. I'll go back and make up a couple of these "Safe" ones.
WODoers: I would love to give this a go with fresh legs and arms, but what can ya do.

Happy with the squats, not so much the muscle-ups.
