Whaddup guys. I missed the PUs on Saturday although I did a bunch of unweighted sets off the rafter at the beach house. Also had a nice active rest day yesterday, ended up taking a nice long run by the water. The problem is, I haven't run barefoot on the beach for a long time, and that killed my calves and legs for today.
I subbed 45# db thrusters for the WB, snatches as rx'd.
What's up my CrossFit brothers. Here I am on the road to recovery. Four weeks post-op and two weeks into physical therapy. My arm is still in a sling and has to remain that way for another 2 weeks. I'm not allowed to move my arm at this point, only my therapist can. Needless to say my shoulder was messed up really bad. 2 tears of the rotator, frayed bicep tendon, bone spur and arthritis. Therapy by far is the most painful part of this ordeal.
So I'm still hitting WOD's, but it's very hard to follow the mainsite with only one arm to work with. I make up my own and make everything a metcon. Today I decided to do this as best a possible.
Chris: Glad to here you are in rehab and back to the work outs!
WODoers: This was a pile of suck ass. Those sqat snatches are heavy enough to hurt bad, but light enough to keep your heart rate right at the point of impending doom. As rx'd= 19:36

3 rounds:
30 25# dumbbell thrusters (left arm)
30 35# dumbbell squat snatches (left arm)
TT: 15:56
It feels good workout again.
