Karen (Ms. Lots)

  1. Did this one in the living room with Chelle. Brought the ladder in and measured out one 9' target for her, and a 10 footer for me. A make is where the middle of the ball gets to or exceeds the tape line. Her ball was 12 lbs, she is 5'4" and 115 lbs, I am 6'3" and 215, so I thought that was fair. Turned out it was. Kids were dancing around the living room to the WOD music while we were getting after it.

    Anderson Silva straight up KICKED Vitor Belfort in the chin last night in UFC, what a knockout that was. Lightning fast. He remains undefeated in the UFC... which spans like 3 years I think...

    I want the Pack to win today... for no real good reason other than it's their time and I like Aaron Rodgers and Clay "Whitesnake Hair" Matthews.

  2. and it turns out that is a PR for the 10 foot target. I have gone faster with a 9 footer but that extra foot is a huge difference. Did 30, then 15, 15, then 10's.

  3. Craig we tied on this one. I may have got you buy 1 second, but it was close. 10' target indoors and it's PMFR by 17 seconds. Did sets of 15 throughout the WOD. Anyone else sore as hell from G.I. Jane? I know I sure am.

  4. Mixin it up again for this one I am. I promise, once spring comes I'll use my backboard and do this outside strictly as rx'd. But I've got a 4ft, ice-covered snowdrift in front of it (and the mrs says NO to WBs in the family room).

    So I did "Karen About My Teeth":

    1pood KB, 8' target (thru the rafters), 150 tosses
    (KB has to leave the hands completely)

    I called it that because after about 100 tosses, I started carin' about my teeth and making sure I didn't drop that fucker.

    TT = 6:29

    That's the fastest I've done this in any iteration I've made up. No particular strategy this time, I think my reps were 36-24-25-20-12-13-10-10.

  5. Wish I would have seen your times first might have found an extra gear at the end. 7:50 as rx'd which is a 1:30+ pr for me, so I can't bitch too much, but would have loved to have a number to be gunning for at the end.

  6. I cheated and checked everybody else's results before I did this one today. I did mine as 10 rounds of 15 with 10-15 seconds between sets, or as little as I could stand towards the end.

    Shoulders and arms are still shakin a bit about 30 minutes afterwards.
