CrossFit Games Open: Round 6

Complete as many reps as possible in 7 minutes of the following rep scheme:
100 pound Thruster, 3 reps
3 Chest to bar Pull-ups
100 pound Thruster, 6 reps
6 Chest to bar Pull-ups
100 pound Thruster, 9 reps
9 Chest to bar Pull-ups
100 pound Thruster, 12 reps
12 Chest to bar Pull-ups
100 pound Thruster, 15 reps
15 Chest to bar Pull-ups
100 pound Thruster, 18 reps
18 Chest to bar Pull-ups
100 pound Thruster, 21 reps
21 Chest to bar Pull-ups...

This is a timed workout. If you complete the round of 21, go on to 24. If you complete 24, go on to 27, etc.

  1. I got my ass handed too me. I woke up and did this way too early today. Did it RX'd. This WOD is pretty much Fran with CTBs which = suck. I am anxious to see what the elite athletes do on this one.

    Got through the 15 rep round of thrusters and 3 CTBs at the buzzer. Big 1/2 day at work then I golf for the first time ever! Been taking a couple of lessons. I am excited. My goal is to break 100 by the end of the year. Should get an indication today of how realistic that is.

  3. Nice job Fletcher. I did this right after making a PR on the DL WOD from yesterday #370. I used my rings so I would have head clearance for the pullups to match CTB height.

    Couldn't catch you. I got through the 12s and then made 9 thrusters on the round of 15. 69reps to your 75.

  4. I had a good night at the gym tonight. I started with the 2k row, then did this mean girl, and finished with DL's.

    I made it to 15 thrusters and 10 pullups for 85 reps total. (I think Chas' math for Fletcher's WOD is off - I calculate 78.)

    My thinking on this one was to slam through the 3, 6, 9 rounds, then try to get through the thrusters without re-racking breaking while pacing through the PU's.

    Anyway, I have to read a book and give a report by Friday so I better get to reading (I HATE reading). Later fellas.

  5. Mikey: I got you by one pull up my friend. I had to not count three rep in the last round becuse chest did not touch. I definitely went to slow in the beginning but then could go faster in the end. Gotta get it while you can...
