Run Rest Run Rest...

  1. Justin I liked your title for this WOD last time around, so I copied it.

I did this today w/ estimated distances on a road course. I switched the 1/2 and 1/4 miles so I could do the 1/4 as a straight uphill. Not the best idea, as I had to stop near the top to keep from puking. But oh well, still a nice Sunday morning run, and I started and finished well (for me).

    1mi 7:45
    3/4mi 6:30
    1/4mi 2:30
    1/2mi 3:55

Somebody better show up on this blog soon, or it's my house all week. Bitches.

  2. I sure feel like a bitch. I haven't been able to walk right since two hours after round two of the clean and jerk wod. I went on two decent runs the last couple of days. If I can move tomorrow moring I think I'm gonna make up fgb.

    Nice work on fgb Chas.

  3. Hey guys I was gone all weekend so I am catching up. Met a new dude who wants to get in shape so he is coming over tomorrow to get broken in with FGB. Man that will suck for him.

I did this on the rower adding 25% to all distances. Total time with rests was 24:48, just 17 seconds longer than last time, but today I was hungover from big huge margs out to dinner last night (had 2 1/2 24 ouncers with about 4 shots worth each in em, and wifey kept up with me!)

I didn't time the individual lengths. Man that was ugly. I moved the C2 out into the sunshine, so that was nice. Fran throat abounds. Cough cough!!

I now believe I have sufficient evidence to conclude that my C2 is conspiring to kill me.

Note to C2 machine: You are NOT in my will, why do you do this to me?

Justin, do you have any legal advice?

  4. Fletcher: Ignorance of the C2 law is not an excuse:) The harder you push it the more likely it is to kill you.

  5. I'm a jackass and forgot to read this one before going to the gym last night. I did 2 minutes rest between all runs, so my WOD was a little different than as Rx'ed.

    1 mile - 8:58, rest 2 min
    3/4 mile - 6:40, rest 2 min
    1/2 mile - 4:38, rest 2 min
    1/4 mile - 2:20

All in all a good day. Later fellas.
