Run 1 Mile

  1. I am hoping to give Wilmot a go tomorrow. Friday was my oly day, so I couldn't really do a hero WOD in the a.m. I cleaned 116kg which is a little under 256# and missed 118kg twice. I'll take the PR, but the oly gains are painfully slow once you have found your max. Still though, one or two kilos every other week will add up over time.

  3. This will be a 2K row for me tomorrow. I am guaranteeing a PR right now, just like Namath. have to beat 7:09 I think?

My wife Chelle is a 5'4" female (yes, I married a girl), 38 1/2 years old. She just rowed 2K in 9:00 exactly with me coaching her and yelling at her the whole time. She has really bad Fran throat and cough right now. It was an awesome moment in the Fletcher Gym!!! I am proud of her. Her previous 1K PR was 4:34, which at that pace, would have put her at 9:08 for 2K. She got her row on people!!!!!!

  4. I was going to row 2K but only got 1K @ 3:26. My lungs aren't ready for this yet.. was coughing big time and had to stop. I was on PR pace but I was getting whooped.. not sure if I could have hung in there.
