MAN WOD - 15 Ring rows, Bench, and Big Boy Squats

  1. Doing this RX'd is a MAN WOD! Holy smokes. I cannot imagine doing those BS's RX'd. I would have DOMs all the way to the hospital, even if my back could handle 75 225 lbs BS's, my legs would fall apart.

    So THEREFORE!!! I scaled the squats to 155, other moves RX'd. For ring rows my feet were 38" off the ground and with every pull I touched thumb knuckles to nipples and locked out elbows on the downstroke. FULL ROM galore. Failed a couple of those. Last round of BP went 7/4/4, first 2 unbroken.... all back squats unbroken but I was yelling out loud a lot. Pain. Suffering. Strength.

    TT 23:18.

    First two rounds under 7 minutes, then I slowed waaaaaay down and almost completely fell apart in round 5, which took like 6 minutes. Ouch. Viva La PukeFit

  2. That was really, really hard. Owned from the first round. I scaled to 135/185.

    TT = 39 flat

    I used one bar, so lots of time transitioning and a bunch of extra cleans. But I think I would have needed that time to rest anyway.

  3. WODoers: Worked up to 1 rep max sumo high pull. Got 185 to chin 205 only to chest. 5x3 snatch pull worked up to 255. 5x7 ring dips with 50# band. 3x15 ghd and backex.

  4. Went golfing on our first good day of the spring yesterday. So, I made this one up today. I have a feeling that I'm going to be a hurting unit tomorrow.

    As Rx'ed, TT = 26:47

    Didn't have any rings so I hung from a bar with feet on a box. Split everything into 10/5 in rounds 1 and 2, 5/5/5 in round 3, 9/6 in round 4, and the best I could do in round 5.

    I like these types of WOD's that are a little heavier so you get muscle fatigue before you are winded. Anyway, later fellas.
