That right there is some ring dips. You betchya. Last 15 RD's were done as 1's.Ouch. First two rounds done in 5 minutes, then the RD's started really slowing down. Full ROM always though. Failed a few times on those too.
Holy shit Fletcher, I am going to have to call you the lord of the rings. Only question is how the hell can you do all those ring dips and still struggle with the muscle up?? You should be able to crank em out. Take a video of your muscle up attempt and email it to me and I might be able to give you some pointers.
I got 2 rounds done in about 5 minutes like Fletcher, but then rings dips went 5,2,1,1,1,1,1... in all the following rounds. Done in 28:05. That was brutal. Nice work Fletcher that is bad ass.
Where is everyone? Justin, thank you. I pushed really hard. My tri's and chest are my strong suit, so I am better at RD's than other things. But also I pushed like a bull on this one. It is the reason I had to rest today, couldn't row, shoulders were toast!!! I kip on these too, I kick my legs down mid-flight sometimes, it helps. Do you guys kip during RD's?
Did this one as a makeup last night after the DU/Snatch WOD. I alternated 3 rounds of regular dips with 3 rounds of med ball under hand push-ups in place of ring dips. I know that's not the Rx'ed sub, but 75 dips per round doesn't seem like a fair sub either.
