MU/Snatch

  1. That DL/BJ WOD made me sore as hell. And I was hung over as hell for this one this morning too. Way slow motion. Also I had my kid with me - it's cool, he likes to go with me on the ~3/4mi run I do as part of my warmup - so I basically turned this WOD into a skills session. MU progressions from my knees, with a bunch of extra pullups and ring dips for good measure. And I scaled the snatches WAY back to 85#. I guess I haven't done those in a while, they felt really awkward with a full squat catch. So lots of extra movements w/ those too, with extra hang power snatches and OHS as I went along. Altogether about 15mins but I wasn't timing closely.

  2. Finally got around to doing this one. I too was sore as hell from the deadlift box jump wod. I missed the third snatch in the first round and I wondered if I was going to finish, but I rallied.

    17:07 as rx'd! First time ever as rx'd on Amanda.

    Missed a total of nine snatches that had to be redone.

  3. Did this one yesterday. I went as Rx'ed on the snatches, although my snatches in the middle of round 2 and all of round 3 were pretty awful. And, used the 3:1 PU/dips sub for the MU's.
