7 rounds: rope, wall ball, KBS, DU's

  1. I subbed 5 strict/deadhang pullups for the RC's, the rest RX'd so we can all party together.

    CRUSHED the first and last round, in betweeen was sporadic but I thought I was going to keel over a few times, really pushed through resting. DU's were unbroken twice, first two rounds DU's were awful, then I found a great rhythm. Gotta practice those fellas.. they are great. flick the wrists in circles don't do shoudler circles, and do it in rhythm... 1-2, (pause) 1-2 (fast) and pause... so the 1-2 is very deliberately fast, then there is a 1/3 of a second pause... bam-bam (pause), bam-bam (pause)....

  2. Messed around with some straps and pulls today.
    Snatch pull then hang power snatch x 3. worked this upt to 145 then did snatch pull hang power snatch x 1. I actually hang power snatched 175#s!! It was crazy. The I messed around with some hang power cleans and clean pulls. It was a really good wod. The snatch pull really brings out the power in the snatch. Can't wait to oly lift next Friday.

  3. I did the same as Fletch. Held steady at a 3 minute per round pace until the 4th round then hit a wall. Struggled through. Went unbroken on all the DU's except rounds 3 and 5.
