Scaled the squat cleans to 125, same as before. I actually shaved 16 seconds off from last time.

Dude, this is AWESOME! Now I got hemorrhoids... bad. It hurt so bad last night I could hardly sleep. I am falling apart. Arm, back, knee, anus.
ReplyDeleteI am not good at any of the oly type lifting so I did the squat cleans by themselves with 95#s. For the set I did a 20 in AMRAP of 30 24" box jumps and 20 burpees. I finished exactly 4 sets.
ReplyDeleteCraig, it will just take time for the arm to heal(assuming no full tares). Are you doing any type of rehab for it? If you need any ideas let me know. My major in college was Sports Medicine and have rehabbed many.
What the hell is going on with you Craig? Holy black cloud. What do you think caused the hemi to flare up? Insanity? I don't get it. Sorry man, hope things turn around for you.
ReplyDeleteI wish I knew... just have to roll with the punches and focus on what I CAN do not what I cannot. This hemi deal is an every couple of years fun thing for me. Have to take it easy during the ol' flare up. It hurts.
ReplyDeleteFletcher, my advice is don't eat a bunch of cheeze and then sneeze while you are pooping out a brick, that would fucking hurt!:)
ReplyDeleteMy watch got stopped by my wrist in the final set of burpees. I realized it on rep 9, so I started it up added 1 minute to my time and did five extra burpeess, otherwise as rx'd. Total time with the minute added 27:46. Great workout I am crushed.
Oh yeah, that was about a seven minute PR, so that is good stuff too.

Today I did a good 10 minute warmup that got me sweaty... then did this:
3 RFT:
50 double unders (in the hot ass sun)
25 BEs w/20 lb vest
25 ring pushups w/20 lb vest (knuckles 1" from floor)
TT 18:46
Rest two minutes...
then, with 20 lb vest still on:
run 400M in the hot ass sun
25 DU's
like 5:55 or something
Then sit around and ask "why did I eat two big ass tacos 20 minutes pre-WOD?????"

Holy shitsnacks!!!! That was a BASTARD!!!! Talk about talking your way through a workout. My knee's and back make workouts like this a friggen chore but I did the work! I had to scale to 115. I'm actually pretty pleased w/that since I didn't have any "tweaks". My knees had a few twinges, but I was able to work through it.
