Ten rounds for time of:
135 pound Deadlift, 15 reps
15 push-ups

  1. The crime: doing this wod in 10:40 and then stripping the weights and realizing that your dumbass put on 35# plates instead of 45# plates.

The punishment: 50 135# deadlifts in 56 seconds.

Chas: If the jerky turns out good I will send you some. email me your address

  2. Went back and made up rowing sprints.... I've said it before, but for me, there is nothing more exhausting than rowing sprints. I HATE them! They make my throat burn worse than Fran, make my heart pound like I am going to die, and you'd think 3 minutes is enough, but I wasn't recovered that fast... especially after the third one.

CFWUx2 then 500M row warmup (like 1:50), then the death march:

    1:35.3
    1:40.2
    1:38.5
    1:44.0

I totally fell apart at the end of the 3rd round and barely finished the fourth, I almost quit and I certainly slowed way down. My legs were (are ) shot from mountain biking yesterday, which made these extra hard.

  3. Dudes, I don't know if there is something wrong with me or what, but this one took me way longer than I thought it would. I thought I would be able to do this one in about 10-12 minutes after seeing that the dude on the main site did it in 6 whatever. I was wrong!

    10 rounds
    15 135# Deads
    15 push-ups

    TT - 22:36

Off to more reports and studying for tests. Later fellas.

  4. Thanks Justin!

I'm playing makeup today, as I posted before. I did a double, making up the pullup ladder and FGB. Some details there, but PU made 14 rounds, PR by 2rds, and stopped there. I think I could have made 15 but I wanted to jump into FGB. I did that one on a strict watch (no breaks like I took with my nephew this summer) and made 316.

  5. TT 9:06. My new rule when I go after the .com wod and I don't get within the same minute of the fast guys I have to run a mile. So after todays WOD I waited 3 minutes and ran an 8:00 mile. So either I work fast or I have to run which I also am not good at. So either I will get to like running or work harder. Fletcher I hate rowing sprints so much.

  6. I claim hardship on this WOD! 6'4" w/ an almost 7' wingspan = much further to move the bar and my body than the average Speal.

Or I'm just a pussy who still can't do pushups. Yeah, probably that.

    Anyway, TT = 14:15

Down from 14:50 last time so a PR but still a long way to go. I agree with you Mike, this really should be a ~10min WOD.

  7. Good work by all! Chas that's funny, claiming tall guy hardship. I hear ya!

I still haven't deadlifted since "the diagnosis"... I thought about doing this one RX'd but it was too many reps and I don't like being in pain and furthering long term arthritis. So I subbed 8 pullups/round over the DLs. TT 12:30. It was a scorcher, as usual. Nothing like those damn rowing sprints though. I still have those things, the grudge has gone on for over 24 hours, and usually I am pretty forgiving!

Had my first customer meeting today, it went well. New job is exciting!

    Best Regards,
